The intermingling between expressive painting and conceptual conception is evident to a fundamental degree in Zhatera Runa, currently studying Painting Studio 2 (Julius Reichel and Milan Mikuláštík School) at the AVU in Prague. It is not decisive whether it is a departure from the space of the basic plane of the image, a collage or a painting. What is essential is the energy, feeling, impression and current imprint, trace. Fast, clear and automatically authentic. Without filter, regulation and (auto)censorship. Runa crosses biological imagination with fantasy culture in a synthetic gesture, applying diverse techniques and materials. The apparent confusion, connecting various objects with immediate feelings, is a defense against disruption as well as against the acceptance of a suprapersonal order against the background of the psychic phenomenon of horror vacui. The conflict between chaos and structure veers from one side to the other without permanently siding with either.
