Toy_Box (*?) graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (2006-2011), the department of scenography at the Josef Škvorecký Literary Academy, and has been a freelancer ever since. She has created countless illustrations for newspapers and magazines, books, and comics. Her latest public space projects include the legendary anti-Nazi fighter Pérák, a painting on two columns of the former railway bridge under Vítkov in Žižkov, with which she won the municipal program Art for the City. Her last solo exhibition was in 2020 at the gallery in Broumov Monastery, or in 2018 at the Egon Schiele Art Center in Český Krumlov. She is currently working on the series Why I Don't Paint, where she deals with topics and reasons that can distract the mother of four from concentration and free creative work. You can purchase her works in the form of drawings, books, prints or paintings, you can hire her for workshops or commission a custom illustration.
